2large egg
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1teaspoonbaking soda

1 1/2cupsof all-purpose flour
1cupof chocolate chips
½cupof chopped walnuts
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F, and line an 8x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper, spray the inside with cooking spray and set aside.
In a medium bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop under low heat. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
Add the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix until combined
Fold in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan.
Sprinkle the chopped walnuts on top of the batter and bake for 50 to 60 minutes at 350°F or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean.
Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then remove the banana bread from the pan by lifting up the parchment paper and let cool for another 10 minutes before slicing.
Store in a container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
Notes
To make banana bread muffins, spray the inside of the muffin tin and fill each cup to roughly 3/4 full. Makes 10-12 muffins.
